Gems of the Screening Room Lockdown Edition

Hey alla ya'll
I'm keen to check out all the great films which didn't make the cut!
Being only 10 out of 1200 films got featured, I'm sure there are some excellent pieces of work hiding away in the screening room so please share the best ones you've found here! Only rule is you can't share your own film!

Here are the best ones I have found so far:
GAVIN IN THE WOODS by Bork! (Not yet in the screening room)
THE QUIET MOON by Lamington Wolf
DOOM RAIDERS by Jovial Entertainment (Not yet in the screening room)
HOME INVASION by PlanetFoxFilms
MIMI by Dragon V Mouse
LOOKEY LUKE by 1/4 JAGBOG
CHAQUITA BANANA by Cactus?

I haven't got through many yet, so I might keep updating this list. Review the films!

I stumbled upon "My wife the pirate" as I was scanning the screening room. It's a fun quirky little romp. https://www.48hours.co.nz/screening-room/2020/lockdown-all-cities/my-wife-the-pirate/

in reply to Mista Teas:

Baby bear was pretty intense, I added some film vibes to my film as well but I guess Vimeo handles film grain a lot better than youtube does.

I truly admire Glendalhor Academy for its Wes Anderson-esque use of swearing.

So far the ones Ive liked the best have been,
Baby Bear
Artificial Selector by Chilly Box
Quiet Moon by AT and JH
Incognito by Angle3 Pictures
Gavin in the woods
and as I write these down I realise that I have a massive bias towards veteran teams and should do a deeper dive into the screening room.

I just had a look at this film Edict, It's an interesting film because it's really polished and everything but it seems like a fairly blatant breach of the rules. Unless the guy is an absolute wizard with compositing or shot the whole thing before lockdown.

Yeah, that one is pretty slick. I've seen a few that seem to have stretched (to say the least) the rules by quite obviously going to a local shopping centre at night etc.

Thanks for this, it's great! I'm reviewing. It felt like a lot of excitement and effort then a big anti-climax so I think if everyone gets at least one review maybe we'll all feel a bit more closure. =)

'Nothing To See Here' - PickleThugs was my favourite of The Spinoff's selections. Well worth a watch.

And absolutely agree with other selections of 'Gavin in the Woods' from Bork, 'Artificial Selector' by Chillybox, and 'Incognito' by Angle3 Pictures

I have reviewed lots of really interesting and ambitious films so far but 'Time and Lasers' is the one I keep going back to. Couldn't recommend it more.
