Dear Ant Timpson

Dear Ant (may I call you Ant, it sounds kinda small for such an important person, but until I hear otherwise, Ant it shall be),
For 48 Hours 2017, we the members of the forum who are addicted to your competition enough to come here at other times of the year would like to create a list of things we'd like you to consider in regards to the competition next year.
Since I'm starting, I'l start.
1. More communication about when the competition is going to be. Facts fight fears. Announce the date early and let teams get their shit together.
2. Have it in its traditional slot of April/May. This is entirely personal (my cameraman loves going to Burning Man and since they won't change the dates of that- I know, priorities huh) it would be stellar if you could keep it where it should be.
3. Have optional extras in the elements. For example, there are the bog standard elements, then have one or two that teams can choose to add on (because we/they are sadists). I'm thinking of another character trait, or a location, or a sound effect, or an allusion, or something like that.
I'm hoping that some others will add their thoughts.
Thanks for listening Ant,

I second Silent Film as a genre! No audio probs, overracting is okay, even encouraged... living the dream :P .
