So has anyone else seen this? What did you think?
I watched the first one when it came out in the flicks and was scared sh*tless. Having said that, I was only 12 at the time.
The reboot is not really a horror: more like a family adventure movie. Insipid compared to the original, sort-of PC and non-offensive. It was telling that although the cinema was at full capacity, and of that at least 50% would have been teenage girls, there wasn't a single scream the entire movie.
I was disappointed because I had high hopes of being scared witless again and having to endure six weeks of sleepless nights with the hall light on (like after The Ring).
1. If you have you seen it, how do you rate it?
2. If you haven't, would you go?
3. What is the scariest film you've seen?
