Woo! Congrats, some great films in there!
Some awesome films didn't quite make the cut, high standards indeed.

Dissapointed not to see Dr Jeckyll in the running for best Animation, their animation work was pretty excellent.

Any hints as to when other award nominations will be announced? (Rising Talent, Sexiest Short, Best School Team, Incredibly Strange, Editing, Makeup, Use of Prop/Line/Character etc) Just curious :)

Ooops... it dropped off the bottom - but is most certainly in the running for best animation! Amended now.

Will there be any other awards for Auckland, i.e. Makeup, Wardrobe, Use of Prop/Line/Character, Music etc?
I'm always one to hope for a miracle, and the small possibility that our team might get nominated for one of those! ;)

Will you have a best school teams category? We got that impression from the Media design school info for schools - Which was great by the way. We've got a lot of students really keen to know!

There usually is, they dont always announce all the nominees before the city finals.

Though its possible it could be a national-only level award?

Hahaha... no 48Hours for us this year unfortunately. Schedule didn't allow. Great to see a bunch of names I don't recognise alongside some of the greats... should be an exciting final. We will return... at the very least we're due to have a complete render fail and miss hand-in by 30seconds ;)
