It looked good and sounded good, but I think the story was a bit weak. Time Travel rom-com is a good idea, but I didn't buy that she had fallen in love with him just on that meeting, and also felt that it didn't have the resolution needed. In general it felt like a scene from a larger story. The acting wasn't great or bad, but good enough for the short. The technical elements in this film really shone, especially the sound. There were some very strong lighting and framing choices as well, and the film had a sharp look about it. The sound was great, with the lounge piano music fitting the mood very well, and it sounded very professional (did you ADR the entire film?). The film dragged a bit and could have used some tightening on the editing side of things however.

Sorry, I meant for it to be a 2.5 star review, so this should even it out.

At a dinner we view a relationship that is obviously not balanced with the alpha male ordering (the wrong) drinks for his clearly frustrated partner. However fate would happen to have it that a third party should come into the mix due to smart phone failures. What progresses is an engaging little film with strong performances and whilst verbally based, knowing the limitless boundaries of film, is also not beyond the realms of possibility. Science fiction setup vs realllly clever plan? Hard to say, either way there was good chemistry between the two playing a game of talk and respond with a nice open ending.

It was sweet that they utilized a bit of time travel but i wasn't won over by the chemistry between the leads. On the technical side, it was very well put together.

too much dialogue and got bored very quickly.. Looked & Sounded OK and the music was the typical thing we hear in elevators though it fits the one-scene movie. Props to keeping the technical qualities up though.

STORY: 2/5 CINEMATOGRAPHY: 3/5 EDITING: 2/5 SOUND DESIGN/SCORE: 2/5 Really like the acting in this one, both the young oppressed/depressed woman and the young lad to comes back from time gave enjoyable performances. Was shot quite well in one location, which I felt didn't work for it as I thought the biggest drawback was it was drawn out far too long and dialogue did not keep the audience interested. Editing also wasn't in favour of keeping it interested as it slipped from should to shoulder.

A high production value short but the story/script never quite got off the ground. There were some beautifully composed shots, though some more originality and variation in shot selection may have added a little more interest to what was a talking head/exposition heavy story. The performances were good, the male lead male particularly so. In my opinion the female lead didn't quite match him, but the passivity of her character didn't give her much to work with. Credit to the team for a decent short (and trying to convey a nice moral message), but if the story/conflict had been significantly ramped up it could have been much much more. PS. Also thought the credits could have done with some sort of backing track. It was a little awkward having them roll in extended silence...

Am not a film maker - just an audience member, so am just commenting on the entertainment aspect. I found this film quite engaging for the most part, though I felt it lacked a conclusion. I thought the the main characters had a believable interaction and the storyline carried me through the first 4/5ths of the film. Visually it was easy to watch and all round a great effort.

The lighting, cinematography and music/sound were all very romantic. The dialogue and characters though, wasn't that comedic. I fail to understand how she would easily believe the time traveller character so easily...but then again it is a romcom. The ending is well executed, and left me thinking while the credits rolled (which by the way looked stunning).
