Told with a lot of heart! Yeah, production values were a bit ropey, but they spent a lot of time on some tricky stop-motion, so well done to them. Amusing song. I liked it.

Dude's beard takes off on him for being a dick to everyone. Good times stop-motion beard escape times... Bummer the victorious beard/face reunion wasn't shot *before* he shaved!

This film cracked me up. It was very in the spirit of the competition. The production values let it down in terms of the rating it deserves, but who cares, it was fun.

Having stolen his pie, Bobby Young believes he has a legitimate reason to think his flatmate shaved off his beard...it's not like it could have run away on it's own, right? Well, guess again, and this led to some incredible footage of the beard on the move. Also nice and short for a change, I really liked this film.

A simple quest movie, but oh - they did well with what I think is a difficult genre... My only niggle would be the old 'get the required 48 hour elements out of the way in the first 30 seconds'. I feel like more effort should go into incorporating the elements and this film had the weakest use of them in the heat. Having said that, when the film cracked into it, the little beard wandering off and having a play on the playground equipment just made me laugh so hard. The stop-motion would have taken quite some doing and I thought this team did a beautiful job. I also enjoyed how the bundle of hair got smaller as it moulted all over town. I didn't think the acting was all that great, but it was secondary to the beard, which was the star of this film. I disagree with one of the other reviewers, I think the reunion with the beard at the end was made that much more fantastic by the way the cut hair was just disgustingly stuck to his face. Gorgeous!

Lovely simple story that nailed the quest genre in a cute original way. Production values weren't amazing, but I didn't really care. Just loved the animated beard escaping through the city. Poor beard. I did wonder why it left and whether it was happy to be reunited.

Wow. The stop motion was really something. Nice! It started average, but then the almighty quest began. Innovative film. I look forward to the future of this team.

Really good, I really enjoyed this one, I was wondering what could be done with the quest genre, and you pulled off a work of genius! loved it!

Protagonists are usually supposed to make some personal changes in a quest film and I dont think this guy did make any changes, but the moral of the story was not lost on me so I am going to be nicer in the future to make sure my beard doesnt run away on me. Pretty gutting that the required line was inserted in a half assed fashion in the first few seconds only to be repeated brilliantly in the song. Good man for being willing to shave of that magnificent beard!

I love the films that get almost all the requirements out of the way in the first frame. This one was cool. Animation of the beard was the highlight of the film for me- and the film itself definitely didn't overstay its welcome. Great stuff.

charmingly whimsical. a shame the reuniting with the beard wasn't filmed before it was shaved off. brought back fond memories of stop frame animation which is hard to do, you guys pulled it off.

As a man with a beard, I 'got' this film. Simple but effective, well done guys.

Arrogant bearded man looses his hirsuteness and pursues eventually regaining the errant hair. Great opening with the pies, and some very nice stop-go shots of the hair on the move. Perhaps needed an extra challenge in there for our beard-less lead (who by the way looks a lot better without) to overcome. Final scene and freeze was nice with seagull in background and patchy, re-stuck, beard disintegrating as we watched. Nice work.
