Hahaha what a great little film. Great use of a hard genre, so simple, sweet and original. Best of the night for me. Didn't look as nice as your film last year but it was still shot really well. Great acting and I loved baby Alan Parr. Had good sound (much better than most) and brilliant ending. Love you guys.

Unfortunately this film was great! The concept, though simple in nature, was coupled with a great script and carried off by very talented actors. This one room Rom Com was very entertaining! I also loved the fact that rather than settling for the limitations of the genre, they were creative in the use of the shots and very beautifully done. Definitely the pick of the heat, though the competition was fierce from every single entry. Good work!

Another great film from these guys, only reason I didn't give it four stars was the predictable ending I saw coming and last years stellar effort which was still fresh in my mind! keep up the good work.

Love the story. So freaking cute.

Thought this was a quality film, technically and also with genuine enjoyment value to the viewer.

For anyone hoping idiotvision wouldn't produce the goods again this year, you're out of luck. Really great use of the one-room genre, top-notch performances all round and well-shot (as usual). Highlight was the awkwardness between them the first time, absolutely spot on.

Who thought they wouldn't produce the goods? I was never in much doubt. From the moment the lead let that first fart slip I knew they had another winner. Great performances and a clever story. The only suggestion I would have is that maybe the montage of different subjects could have come at the beginning of the film rather than the middle, it felt a little strange where it was, but thats a minor quibble. An almost certain finalist.

Our Team fucking loves IdiotVision films, and its great to have them in our heat each year. The production and story is always tight and it's defiantly one of my favorites of the night. And yes people have suggested therapy and even having a Lobotomy.

Maybe I'm insane but I'm with truthserum here. Maaaybe their past glory had me expecting too much or something. It's definitely one of the best of the heat (which is saying a lot) and will undoubtedly be up there, but I think that's just cause it's funny and well made... well I won't stand for it! Funny and well made is all good, but seriously, there was no arc to this: A photographer has an awkward shoot with a beautiful woman (I won't spoil it), mutually embarrassing, and she runs out. He wants to see her again, ostensibly to finish the shoot, but obviously also 'cause he likes her. He sees her again, and the shoot goes the same, but this time, they're able to laugh together about it. So well written and acted, and hilarious and all that, but felt like only the first and last scenes of a four/five star movie.

I'm a sucker for a good fart joke, but I was expecting a bit more wit and humor from this team. Somewhat charming however.

I want this film to win. It was never over-played, it was well shot and well acted. I cannot fault this film at all.

The usual top-notch script and performances that we've come to expect from these guys, but I do wonder a little if your entry from last year was just so, SO good that you can never live up to that again? I hope I'm wrong :) This was very good, but it wasn't Confessions of a Fabricator great. COAF was transcendent, where this was a really, really good 48hours short. Cute story that we can all relate to, and VERY good use of the one-room genre, but I wanted to see more Toby!! Technicals seemed slightly lower than previous years, but all in all a very succinct and tastefully told story.

Goddamn these guys are good. So very, very good. A simple story told well, opened and closed nicely (sort of comes full circle), and was quite sweet understated comedy (as much as fart jokes can be) instead of the blatant in-your-face whackness this contest seems encourage. Perhaps it's not as 'transcedent' (as Al put it) as their incredible short from last year, but I for one am stoked to see Idiotvision do a film like this and pull it off with such aplomb. (I just checked the definition of aplomb to see whether it applied here. It does.)

Good short but felt a little bit let down by the end as I saw it coming from near the start, with a different ending would have been up there with iBeard and Huapai as my faves of the night!

A sweet and pretty funny film revolved around a little embarrassing fart. You could see the ending coming but its still a pretty charming film.
