To the man who called me monosyllabic and a prick.
Reason that I might take offence? Yes.
Apology forthcoming? No sign of one yet.
Cause? Me saying that your comments are too long and then calling you verbose and loquacious. Considering your comments are long, I believe that my description of your comments are fair. And since verbose and loquacious both refer to someone's willingness and like for using words, it would see to me that my comments are valid.
Would you disagree? Are your comments not long? Verbose? Loquacious?
On reflection Gregg, does your response seem logical?
Gregg, have you stopped to wonder why so many on these forums have responded negatively to your comments?
Personally I would like to see the insults stop flying through the electronic ether.
I do not wish to further insult, offend or upset and would ask you to do likewise with your inflammatory rhetoric.
Gregg, I have endeavoured to not insult you through this post and politely request you to do likewise in your responses to all others on the forum.

Alternatively, just giving the title and team name on the voting sheet might get people to vote for the films that stay with them.
If you cannot remember the film by the end of the night then it doesn't deserve your vote

Indeed. (Two syllables).
Story is an essential part of narrative film making. I am not a royalist, so prefer not to use the term 'King', but its right up there.
If my brevity offends you Greg, tough luck.
Your loquacious verbosity is obtuse and often irrelevant. Try to compress your ideas, comments and suggestions into posts of less than 2000 words.
I know I said I try and ignore you, but hey, I'm only human.

That's the idea, but lets face it, some people need more than a title to jog their memories.

I like this idea and hate to throw another spanner in the works, but....
At the screenings you get a voting form with the team names on it, which includes the genre.
Obviously you could simply not put that on it, but then when it comes to voting you only have the title to remember which film is which. Although this is not tough it may be beyond some.
I'd like to think that you could simply remove it from the voting form and then your idea would be stellar

I seriously doubt this is an issue, so long as you do not slander someone.
Its not a copyright issue to say the words 'Kurt Cobain', but it might cause trouble if you made him out to be a kiddy fiddler.

Although I don't like the film, I have no issue with their 'story' as such.
It follows a fairly classic structure and it does have its charm.
The story of 'Child Jumpers' is not an issue for me. It may not have been he most original, or clever, but it did what it set out to do. Very few 48 Hours films achieve the original in story telling, but that's beside the point.
The key is to tell a story clearly and with purpose. 'Child Jumpers' did that.

I'd like to see lots of classic genres, the likes of western, war, silent, film noir, murder mystery, or period drama.
I'd also like to see time twister, Shakespearean, thriller.
Anyone got some suggestions?
