Unitec is offering loads of free courses for V48 HOURS team members.
1 x full-fees scholarship for 2012 (Graduate Diploma in Creative Practice).
If that's a bit full on, how about
3 x workshops in August - Art Direction, Production or Cinematography

Yeah that's cool. The Edge was giving away entries on air, as was TVNZ U I believe.

Work gave me time off - without the normal mucking around so I'm happy.

Yes that does count as free stuff. Last year I didn't know until Thursday of the shoot weekend that I had time off to do the comp, (and that was after them losing 2 written request for that weekend off).

Note the Unitec free courses are not free if anyone not living and Auckland, we have to pay for transport and extra accommodation etc to get to and stay.

But saying that, anyone who can should try/do these courses and if I was living in Auckland I would be.

Would love to do the courses, but as shadow ghost says, the 'other' costs make it impractical. Would be nice o see Massey or Vic uni offering similar
