I think the title is a crap idea. Rather than providing a starter to launch the creative process, it would limit the scope and potentially make them far more alike.
50% success rate? Not surprising, they have to stop for a cuppa tea every 2 hours.

Two more reasons why only 50% of teams make it in on time for this comp:
1: FREE TO ENTER
2: Starts Saturday morning, finishes Monday afternoon.

I was also looking at the 48 Hour Film Project – they are structured more like 48HOURS (not surprising they were the nexus for our event) but the participation is nothing like NZ. Edinburgh (a city of nearly half a million) has only about 40 teams registered. Houston (2.1 million)...
